Black Vale - a dark region beyond the Golm Mountains
Blaklyth - a dwarven fortress of Noddyrock, at the Blaklyth Gate, the main entrance to the dwarven mining complex, at the surface head of the River Krae
Bowman, The - the name of an arcing constellation of stars toward the southern sky in Erna. Each moon, on its "peak" day, crowns this arc, like the head of a flaming arrow as it traverses the sky.

Dorm Lake - a large lake in the Golm Mountains, at the head of the River Gaune

Gallan Hamlin - Woodendale orphan, raised by the potter and his family until he was old enough to enter the Northern Garrison as an apprentice soldier
Gaune River - river fed by Dorm Lake in the Golm Mountains, flows through northern Alintore and into Terimbar
Gavril Lockwood - a hermit, and associate of Tramon Amorra, lives outside the village of Riverside
Golm Mountains - mountain range containing the dwarven kingdoms of Noddyrock and Bandyrock, west border of Alintore
Golm Watchers - mysterious, dark beings that guard the Golm Mountain passes into the Black Vale
grapton - a race of large, winged creatures, inhabiting the southern mountain ranges of Erna
Greater Guardians - the eight Guardians who principally watch over Erna, said to inhabit the moons observed in the various Ernaan months. Rank order: Turarel, Orla, Tara, Dinach, Nergalin, Rilfar, Linshar and Kinna. "The Nine" are referred to by some, who devoutly hold that the mysterious "Treal" has a proper guardianship over the five days at the end of the year, unillumined by any moon.
Guardian - name of the ascendant beings who dwell in Malda, given charge over diverse aspects of the world of Erna - divided into greater and lesser guardianships. See also "Greater Guardians" and "Lesser Guardians"
Gurden - surname of a Woodendale family
Gurinen Balkan - foreman of the Noddyrock Mining Company, stationed in the mid-south cleft stream mining site, west of Kinardin
Helda al'Kana - one of the Yrewven, the dark elves, sister of Torlid and Karlind
hylaforite - the Seye'Lahn name for black diamond, naming its inexplicable hardness
IceFrost Mountains - a mountain chain in the northern part of Erna, comprising the northern border of the region of Roginon
Inar - "Sir Inar, noble knight extraordinaire!" from a tall tale told by Sam, when accounting for his history. Not factual in the least. Kinardin - mountain township of the dwarven kingdom of Noddyrock
Kinardin Mining Company (KMC) - a mining company of Noddirock that employs Mordaar Morthain
Kinna - the 8th Great Guardian, the Guardian of Healing, associated with the blue moon that shines in the 1st of the Ernaan months, the second month of Winter
Krae River - small river fed by the dwarven mining complex into northern Alintore, where it joins up with the River Gaune at Irrlon
Lag'ron Tra'el - ice elf lieutenant, directly subordinate to the Master in his military designs, older brother of Tra'van Tra'el
Lerarut - a Vordan, antithetical to the Guardian Turarel
Lesser Guardians - the Guardians who are said to govern the stars over Erna. The Guardians of the Moons of Erna are associated with more personal Guardianship, and are therefore called greaters. But the Guardianship of the Lesser Guardians is of singular importance for diverse aspects of the world. For example, "Aerial", who is said to dwell in the closest (and brightest) star, is associated by some with the nature of music. "Solara", said to govern the sun, is associated with traveling and journeying. The full number of Lesser Guardians is unknown, and mysterious beings claimed to have been seen in Erna throughout its history are often associated with these Lesser Guardians - for example, the "Hunter" of the eastern forest region of Alintore.
